Franchises

Any team holding a franchise in the GDSL shall retain and exercise its franchise without need for re-acceptance to membership, providing that it has fulfilled all of its obligations to the league.

All GDSL franchises agree to abide by the rules, regulations and obligations.

Perspective GDSL franchises must have contacted the GDSL by December 31st of the current year to be considered for the next GDSL season. Perspective franchises must have these questions answered prior to applying for the GDSL.

1. Financial stability. Your franchise will be required to pay the total GDSL league fee prior to the start of the season.

2. Roster. Your franchise will have to submit an informal roster to make sure you will have the ability to field a team.

Once those are taken care of, the commissioner will meet you with to discuss your franchise and make his recommendation to the other league managers who will then vote on your application at the February league meeting.
